My friend gave me this book. It was small enough for me to carry around in my pocket. Jung is always a heady read.

Another greatly impactful book that allowed me to change my perspective on 'the other side'.

Another Haidt book in my all time pound-for-pound list. Word of the century: "antifragility".

Alexandr Solzhenitsyn
Profoundly haunting and severely important. Detailed first hand accounts of life in soviet labor camps.
Man's Search for Meaning

Victor Frankel
I think I read this during my freshman year of college. I remember it giving me guidance during a dark time.

Read during my time in eating disorder residential treatment. Good book.
The Tipping Point

Also read this one in eating disorder treatment. Having time without my phone was great for my reading progress.

Margaret Truman
I really loved learning about presidents during high school (I still like to!). Harry Truman's election story always made me laugh.

American Prometheus

Kai Bird and Martin J. Sherwin
Recommended by college professor in 2019. This was when I started getting really interested in nuclear energy and that era of history.

A Christmas gift in 2024 -- I really loved this book! Life is one big system of connections that depend on each other.
Rise of the Necrofauna

Christmas gift in 2017 -- this is where I first learned about the miracle of CRISPR/Cas9 technology.

Andy Weir
Whaaaaat?! Fiction?! I heard the author on NPR when he was discussing the soon-to-release movie in 2015. Very humorous and accurate sci-fi!

Christmas 2017 -- a friendly intro to astrophysics for "dummies" that was still entertaining for someone with a little background in the subject.

I watched Little Women with my mom one year and she got me this book for Christmas. I really should finish this sweet book!
